So what is Wabi-Sabi style? And why it is distinct?

Wabi-Sabi is a concept that originated in Japan, which generally refers to simple and quiet things. Compared with minimalism, Wabi-sabi is minority, which is less used in interior home design. 

Soft and natural colors are the main color palettes of Wabi-Sabi style. The reason is that the wall of ancient Japanese house is built with mud. Therefore brown, grey, beige and some natural green is the main colors used in Wabi-Sabi style home decoration.
